Residential Aged Care Funding Assessor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• In this role, you will be responsible for visiting aged care facilities to evaluate residents using the Australian National Aged Care Classification (AN-ACC) assessment instrument.

• This position will carry out AN-ACC assessments at residential aged care facilities throughout the Grampians aged care planning region (ACPR) on behalf of the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing.

• These visits will necessitate travel within the Grampians ACPR, with the possibility of overnight stays for more remote locations.

• Extensive training and support will be offered (no prior experience with the AN-ACC assessment tool is necessary).

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Registered Nurse, Physiotherapist, or Occupational Therapist in the aged care field.

• Current, general, and unrestricted registration with AHPRA.

• A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.

• A flexible mindset and the capability to adjust to a dynamic environment or circumstances.

• Willingness to travel to regional or remote facilities.

• Ability to work independently within a diverse and widely dispersed team.

• Compliance with all vaccination requirements set by the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing.
