This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
β’ In this role, you will be responsible for visiting aged care facilities to evaluate residents using the Australian National Aged Care Classification (AN-ACC) assessment instrument.
β’ This position will carry out AN-ACC assessments at residential aged care facilities throughout the Grampians aged care planning region (ACPR) on behalf of the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing.
β’ These visits will necessitate travel within the Grampians ACPR, with the possibility of overnight stays for more remote locations.
β’ Extensive training and support will be offered (no prior experience with the AN-ACC assessment tool is necessary).
β’ A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Registered Nurse, Physiotherapist, or Occupational Therapist in the aged care field.
β’ Current, general, and unrestricted registration with AHPRA.
β’ A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
β’ A flexible mindset and the capability to adjust to a dynamic environment or circumstances.
β’ Willingness to travel to regional or remote facilities.
β’ Ability to work independently within a diverse and widely dispersed team.
β’ Compliance with all vaccination requirements set by the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing.
β’ Competitive salary β $111,489 per annum + 12% superannuation (FTE).
β’ Part-time role (0.6 FTE / 3 days per week).
β’ Program hours: Monday to Friday, from 9am to 5pm.
β’ Comprehensive training provided on the usage and application of the new assessment tool.
β’ Provision of all necessary technical equipment, including laptop and mobile phone.
β’ Reimbursement for travel expenses.
