Resident Solutions Architect – Digital Native Business

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +8 more states.

📋 Description

• Engage in a diverse range of significant customer technical projects, which may involve designing and constructing reference architectures, producing how-to guides, and operationalizing customer use cases.

• Collaborate with engagement managers to define various professional services tasks with input from the customer.

• Assist strategic customers in executing transformative big data initiatives and third-party migrations, encompassing comprehensive design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge big data and AI applications.

• Provide consultancy on architecture and design; initiate or execute customer projects that facilitate a successful understanding, evaluation, and adoption of Databricks.

• Offer elevated support for customer operational challenges.

• Partner with the Databricks technical team, Project Manager, Architect, and Customer team to ensure the delivery of technical components meets customer requirements.

• Collaborate with Engineering and Databricks Customer Support to deliver product and implementation feedback, and to expedite resolution of engagement-specific product and support issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in data engineering, data platforms, and analytics.

• Proficient in coding with either Python or Scala.

• Familiar with two or more major Cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) with specialized knowledge in at least one.

• Extensive experience with distributed computing using Apache Spark™ and understanding of Spark runtime internals.

• Knowledge of CI/CD practices for production deployments.

• Familiarity with MLOps.

• Experience in designing and deploying efficient end-to-end data architectures.

• Proven experience in technical project delivery, including scope and timeline management.

• Strong documentation and whiteboarding abilities.

• Experience in client interaction and conflict resolution.

• Develop skills in technical areas that facilitate the deployment and integration of Databricks-based solutions to successfully complete customer projects.
