Resident On-Site AGV Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the JBT vehicle project team to implement, configure, and test a new environment within a hospital setting.

• Conduct routine preventive maintenance services alongside on-call maintenance for the AGV fleet.

• Identify and rectify vehicle and system-related issues.

• Assist with upgrades and retrofits that necessitate modifications to vehicles.

• Oversee and manage the on-site parts inventory and facilitate parts orders.

• Offer operational support for AGV systems during the introduction of new or modified systems and start-ups.

• Work in close partnership with the full-time On-site Senior Technician to troubleshoot and resolve AGV system problems.

• Provide on-call assistance for critical outages that impact business operations.

• Keep up to date with the latest designs, features, and equipment provided by JBT Automated Systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• An Associate's degree in Electronics Technology or a related field.

• Three to five years of experience with extensive technical knowledge of AGV product lines.

• Proficiency in using electronic diagnostic and repair tools, such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, soldering irons, and basic electronics hand-tools.

• Capability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

• Competence in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

• Ability to effectively present information and respond to inquiries from groups of managers, customers, and JBT employees.

• Skill in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams.

• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, SQL, and Syteline or a similar MRP business system.
