This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Deliver full-time project support for a prominent Enterprise Healthcare Extreme client located in the Cincinnati, Ohio area.
• Adhere to the Extreme Premier Services PDIO (Plan/Design/Implement/Operate) implementation framework.
• Develop high-level architecture diagrams, functional capabilities, customer prerequisites, configurations, and timelines for deliverables.
• Establish UAT and Functional Validation criteria within a Method of Procedure document.
• Generate and update project documentation throughout the implementation and ongoing delivery phases.
• Act as the technical lead and trusted advisor for the customer during implementation, remaining an integral team member thereafter.
• Coordinate communication among sales, PLM, Engineering, GTAC, Account Team, Management, and the customer during both implementation and production stages.
• Collaborate with Extreme partners and sales personnel to implement Extreme solutions and facilitate knowledge transfer.
• Maintain expert-level knowledge of Extreme Cloud IQ Site-Engine, Extreme Cloud IQ Wireless, EXOS switching OS, and Extreme VOSS/SPB Fabric.
• Proactively escalate customer issues to the PSM, GTAC, Account Team, and Management.
• Expertise in networking technologies with at least 5 years of experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge and proven track record in implementing and maintaining Extreme Campus Fabric.
• In-depth knowledge and demonstrated experience with the EXOS (ERS series) switching OS.
• Extensive knowledge and proven experience with Extreme Cloud IQ Site Engine, Extreme Control (NAC), and Extreme Analytics platforms.
• Solid understanding of VOSS switching and SPB fabric networks.
• Expertise and proven experience with Extreme Wireless solutions utilizing XIQ (hive OS) related APs.
• Strong understanding of LDAP, RADIUS, and Active Directory Services for AAA within NAC solutions.
• Practical experience using security-related toolsets.
• Exceptional troubleshooting and network problem-resolution skills, including proficiency in PCAP, Wireshark, and wireless RF analysis tools.
• Ability to comprehend customer requirements and effectively position Extreme solutions.
• Capability to implement Extreme products in mission-critical environments during scheduled downtime or with no downtime.
• Proficient in managing complex customer interactions and expectations.
• Experience with project plans, design diagrams, and procedure documentation; coordinating with Firewall and OS Teams.
• Excellent interpersonal, technical presentation, and communication abilities.
• Self-driven and capable of working with minimal supervision.
• In-depth knowledge of five or more networking technologies, each with 5 or more years of experience: NAC, DNS, DHCP, Wireless, IPv4/v6, routing protocols, or Layer 2 switching.
• Must be a US citizen.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Industry Network Certifications are preferred.
• Experience with Automation/Python scripting.
