This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Ensure continuous success and value realization for Samsara’s enterprise customers leveraging Samsara’s Resident Consultant services.
• Develop and implement long-term strategies for the Resident Consultant team that align with Samsara’s dedication to delivering exceptional service.
• Identify and nurture the next generation of Resident Consultants at Samsara.
• Keep executives updated on progress and advocate for necessary changes.
• Lead proactively with a hands-on approach.
• Champion, exemplify, and integrate Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we expand globally and open new offices.
• Recruit, develop, and manage an inclusive, engaged, and high-performing team.
• Over 8 years of experience in Customer Success, account management, or consulting.
• At least 3 years in management roles, including the recruitment and retention of top talent.
• Proven experience with $1M+ ACV customers.
• Familiarity with Enterprise SaaS.
• Willingness to travel within the United States for customer meetings and events (up to 25%).
• Experience in structured value delivery to achieve quantifiable business outcomes, employing a defined engagement methodology.
• Outstanding executive stakeholder management and communication skills, with strong emotional intelligence and the ability to prioritize, considering customer VP+ engagement and the internal visibility of this role, including interaction with Samsara’s C-suite.
• A proven history of building trust and effectively communicating with a diverse range of stakeholders, from customer executives to day-to-day users of our solutions and internal teams such as Sales, Product, Engineering, and Finance.
• Solutions-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
• Capacity to think broadly while executing with excellence.
• Self-motivated individual who takes initiative and excels in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
• Exhibits diplomacy, tact, and composure under pressure when resolving customer issues.
• Proven ability to cultivate an inclusive team environment that appreciates diverse perspectives.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution.
