Research Scholars Program Coordinator

📋 Description

• We are looking for a self-driven, organized, and flexible Coordinator to join Empowerly on a part-time basis within our Research Scholars Program.

• The Empowerly Research Scholars Program allows high school students to delve into their academic interests through mentorship-focused research experiences with professionals across various disciplines.

• Participants enhance their research, writing, and critical thinking abilities while undertaking impactful projects that elevate their academic profiles and college applications. We prefer a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy college student capable of working independently and thriving in a dynamic environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently, we are only considering applicants who are U.S. citizens residing in the United States and are enrolled in an undergraduate program at a U.S.-based institution.

• Act as a liaison for Empowerly students by providing support and assistance to students and their families.

• Develop educational materials such as forms, surveys, FAQs, and orientation presentations for each cycle.

• Gather and evaluate feedback from both the company and students.

• Create post-mortem reports to assess successes and identify areas for improvement for each cycle.

• Support the RSP Program Manager with various tasks including data entry, content creation, and other support activities to ensure the cycles run smoothly.

• Ability to commit to an average of 15-20 hours per week and be available to work non-traditional hours.

• Willingness to engage with high school students from diverse backgrounds.

• Capable of working independently while also collaborating with team members.

• Must have the ability to work remotely with reliable internet access and a suitable workspace.

• Excellent time management and organizational skills to consistently meet deadlines are essential.

• Strong emotional intelligence is required.

• Possess robust analytical skills, able to utilize data effectively to narrate stories and guide decisions.

• Be a creative and inquisitive problem solver with a focus on thoughtful action and achieving results.
