• The Research Project Manager is responsible for supervising and advising on the operations of research projects, which encompass study methodologies, protocol development, project deliverables and timelines, data management and analysis plans, as well as financial administration.
• Offers guidance and oversight to members of the research team.
• Acts as the main point of contact for the project with faculty, sponsors, and leadership.
• Manages and implements the Center’s research projects.
• Collaborates closely with the Research Director and leadership on significant local, state, and national initiatives and research projects.
• Works directly with health system leadership and staff to apply evidence-based interventions within their health systems.
• Oversees and provides advice on research projects and investigative studies from initiation to completion, including study design, data collection and management plans, and IRB submissions.
• Creates surveys and interview guides utilizing conceptual frameworks to ensure a structured, theory-driven approach to data collection.
• Develops workflows and project infrastructure for research projects; delegates, prioritizes, and reviews research tasks to achieve project goals and enhance outcomes.
• Engages in the dissemination of program data, outcomes, and impacts.
• Master’s Degree.
• 3+ years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience that is equivalent.
• Proven knowledge of cancer prevention, implementation science, and fundamental public health principles, with experience in quality improvement and project management.
• In-depth understanding of social determinants of health, including barriers to care at both community and health system levels.
• Familiarity with and prior experience using Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
