Research Partner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Collaborate directly with physicists to assist in conducting experiments, analyzing results, and rapidly deriving value.

• Manage the complete user lifecycle: from exploration and activation to onboarding and sustained engagement.

• Design and enhance onboarding processes, workflows, and user journeys that can scale to accommodate thousands of users.

• Develop streamlined systems (such as guides, tools, and automations) to facilitate users' transition from freemium to premium tiers.

• Detect friction points within the user experience and convert them into product or workflow enhancements.

• Work closely with research and engineering teams to ensure the system aligns with genuine user needs.

• Serve as a technical liaison for users, providing in-depth assistance when necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong foundation in physics (PhD or equivalent experience preferred).

• Comfortable and experienced in hands-on interaction with technical systems, experiments, or computational tools.

• Capable of simplifying complex concepts into clear instructions for users.

• Enthusiastic about research and experimentation.

• Experience in supporting users, customers, or researchers at scale (e.g., CSM, developer relations, research support, etc.).

• Highly systems-oriented mindset; you approach problems in terms of workflows, repeatability, and scalability.

• At ease with ambiguity and early-stage settings where you establish the operating procedures.

• Driven by impact and dedicated to helping others derive real value from intricate systems.
