This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.
β’ Oversee research initiatives focused on the U.S. Mid-South and South regions.
β’ Efficiently identify and utilize research resources.
β’ Generate research logs, reports, and updates for clients.
β’ Manage 30-60 client projects, outlining scope and budget.
β’ Ensure that project deliverables align with established standards and expectations.
β’ Maintain an average of 5.5 billable hours daily.
β’ Provide and receive constructive feedback while keeping clients updated regularly.
β’ Supervise the accuracy and efficiency of research outputs.
β’ Conduct regular team meetings and be available for consultations.
β’ A minimum of 5 years of experience in professional genealogical research.
β’ Bachelor's or masterβs degree in History, English, or a related field.
β’ Proficient in general U.S. research, with a focus on the Mid-South and Southern states.
β’ Skilled in applying DNA test results to solve genealogical research challenges.
β’ Advanced knowledge of brick wall research techniques and evidence analysis.
β’ Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
β’ Familiarity with creating research journals/logs, citations, record abstracts, academic research reports, and research plans.
β’ Proficient in client communication, expectation setting, and issue resolution.
β’ Background in a collaborative team setting, providing feedback and coaching to peers.
