Research Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Rotates through different functions within the radio industry or concentrates on a specific area, such as sales, programming, events, etc.

• Conducts research and analysis on the social media strategies of brands and talents.

• Produces weekly digital reports for EVPP summaries within the radio division.

• Participates in weekly presentations for talents, programmers, and shows.

• Acquires knowledge of job processes and requirements in assigned functions.

• Acts as a research apprentice focused on digital marketing.

• May collaborate with other interns or departments on research or events, depending on location.

• Aids in enhancing interest in iHeartMedia through social media platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; active listening; effectively transmitting information; capable of proofreading and editing.

• Strong planning and organizational skills: prioritizing urgent and important tasks; demonstrating attention to detail.

• Leadership abilities in peer relationships.

• Capacity to work independently and efficiently.

• Flexibility and creativity; ability to adapt to changing priorities.

• Highly skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms, including X, Facebook, Tumblr, Instagram, and Pinterest.

• Previous work experience in the media field is advantageous.

• Demonstrated career interest in the media industry.

• Full-time undergraduates (rising Junior or Senior) enrolled at a four-year college.

• Minimum GPA of 3.2.

• A background in a relevant media field of study is a plus, such as Communications, Marketing, Advertising, or Broadcast Journalism.

• College or university transcript required.
