Research Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Assist the Executive Director with the daily operations of CRSI.

• Engage in policy research, data analysis, programming, product development, long-form writing, public speaking, and strategic support.

• Play a role in multi-disciplinary research initiatives, including literature reviews and data analysis.

• Create and uphold C-QuIP, CRSI’s public database containing CDR information.

• Address time-sensitive requests from colleagues and project collaborators.

• Convert CRSI’s work into written documents and data visualizations.

• Act as a representative for CRSI at industry conferences.

• Perform other reasonable and related duties as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4-5 years of combined experience from university and professional settings.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Familiarity with scientific research practices, terminology, and tools.

• Highly collaborative and proactive in enhancing the team's understanding of carbon removal.

• Proficient in researching, writing, editing, and public speaking without reliance on AI.
