Research Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive research to gather data pertinent to both IT and non-IT projects, followed by the analysis of complex datasets to provide actionable insights and recommendations.

• Prepare and present thorough reports, briefing materials, and updates for ITW leads, stakeholders, and VHA executive leadership, while ensuring precise documentation is maintained to aid strategic decision-making.

• Assist in the formulation of project plans, schedules, deliverables, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for diverse initiatives within ITW.

• Organize and offer logistical support for ITW meetings and briefings, facilitating effective communication with stakeholders.

• Manage documentation of research findings, project updates, and meeting minutes, ensuring that project artifacts are accessible and traceable.

• Aid in advancing both IT and non-IT projects, ensuring they align with VHA's strategic objectives and comply with governance processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Research, Data Analytics, Information Technology, Healthcare Management, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in research and data analysis, ideally within the healthcare or government sectors.

• Previous experience in acquisition and budget management with a federal agency is required.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Demonstrated ability to convert data into insights that inform strategic decisions.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience in presenting to leadership.
