Resale Compliance Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Ensure that SanMar customers adhere to the resale requirements specific to each state.

• Process renewals of resale certificates in accordance with state timelines.

• Maintain a thorough understanding of various forms and state-specific requirements.

• Monitor incoming faxes and emails for the Resale Team and direct them as necessary.

• Complete updates to customer information within 24 hours, including changes to address, name, and ownership.

• Assist in resolving resale issues and renewals by collaborating with customers, the Inside Sales team, and the Credit departments.

• Request resale forms as needed.

• Meet the monthly deadlines for state resale renewal projects.

• Accurately maintain and update SanMar’s customer software and information systems.

• Undertake other assigned responsibilities.

• Adhere to all policies and standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous customer service experience is preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Demonstrated history of providing exceptional customer service.

• Proven excellence in attendance and punctuality.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and work independently with minimal supervision.

• Capacity to learn new processes and procedures, retain information, and utilize available resources for information retrieval.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Adaptable to change.

• Keen attention to detail.

• Self-motivated and confident in working independently.

• Outstanding organizational and time management abilities.

• Availability to work standard hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST.

• Ability to sit for extended periods and perform close visual work on a computer.

• Capability to occasionally lift and/or move items weighing up to 10–15 pounds.
