Resale Compliance Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +10 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional customer service while ensuring that customer accounts adhere to state resale certificate regulations.

• Support customers in the renewal of resale certificates maintained with SanMar.

• Aid customers in filling out state forms, respond to inquiries, and offer resource tools.

• Guarantee compliance with each state's requirements and process resale renewals according to state timelines.

• Maintain a thorough understanding of various forms and state regulations.

• Oversee incoming faxes and emails directed to the Resale Team and appropriately route them.

• Update customer information within 24 hours, including changes to address, name, and ownership.

• Address resale issues and renewals by collaborating with customers, Inside Sales, and Credit departments.

• Request resale forms when necessary.

• Meet deadlines for monthly state resale renewal projects.

• Accurately maintain and update SanMar's customer software and information systems.

• Adhere to all policies and standards.

• Perform additional tasks as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Prior customer service experience is preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• A proven history of exceptional customer service skills.

• Demonstrated excellent attendance and punctuality.

• Ability to collaborate within a team and work independently with minimal supervision.

• Capacity to learn new processes and procedures, retain information, utilize available resources for answers, and gather information.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

• Adaptability to change.

• Keen attention to detail.

• Self-motivated and able to work independently and confidently.

• Excellent organizational and time management capabilities.

• Availability to work standard hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST.

• Occasional travel may be necessary.

• Ability to sit for extended durations while using a computer and participating in virtual and in-person meetings.

• Frequent typing and use of standard office equipment.

• Capability to perform close visual work on a computer for long periods.

• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 10–15 pounds.
