Requirements Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Responsible for collaborating with project stakeholders and end users to elicit, comprehend, analyze, and document the system requirements necessary to address specific business challenges.

• Documents, analyzes, and reviews software requirements for a substantial software development team engaged in development, testing, installation, customer interaction, and O&M activities for various applications that support data and document classification.

• Tasked with interfacing with various stakeholders to evaluate and understand requirements, ensuring that user stories are coherent and relevant across all products.

• Oversees both functional and non-functional requirements for multiple products within the project team.

• Key responsibilities involve managing and validating requirements; capturing detailed descriptions of user needs and product functionalities; and confirming that the project team maintains clear, consistent, and testable requirements documented in user stories and completion criteria.

• Resolves conflicts; breaks down high-level information into suitable detail for team members; and engages in peer reviews of requirements documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2 years of experience with a BS/BA; 0 years with an MS/MA; or 6 years with no degree.

• Must be a US Citizen.

• Must be eligible to obtain Public Trust clearance.

• Experience in collaborating with stakeholders to collect requirements.

• Familiarity with understanding customer requirements.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Strong writing abilities.
