Reproductive Psychiatrist, Clinical Supervisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Offer clinical guidance and mentorship to a group of nurse practitioners with a total capacity of up to 7.0 FTE.

• Conduct regular (weekly or biweekly) group case consultation meetings for the NP team to address complex or higher-acuity cases.

• Be accessible for ad hoc, asynchronous consultations regarding psychopharmacologic inquiries related to reproductive psychiatry.

• Assist in the onboarding process for new NPs by familiarizing them with FamilyWell's reproductive psychiatry clinical protocols and best practices.

• Provide clinical knowledge to the continuous development and enhancement of FamilyWell's clinical guidelines and protocols.

• Engage as necessary in FamilyWell's clinical quality and risk management initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• MD or DO, board-certified in Psychiatry; additional training, fellowship, or certification in reproductive/perinatal psychiatry is highly preferred.

• Valid, unrestricted medical license in Connecticut.

• Clinical experience in treating perinatal, postpartum, and peri/menopause-related mood and anxiety disorders.

• Comfort with a fully remote, virtual consultation model.

• Excellent communication skills and a passion for mentoring and supporting NP-led, team-based care within a collaborative care (CoCM) framework.

• Previous experience supervising or working alongside PMHNPs is strongly preferred.
