This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Actively manage assigned REO leads, listings, and CRM tasks to identify and engage potential buyers and their agents.
• Provide prompt and precise pre-approvals while guiding borrowers through the REO purchasing process to enhance competitive positioning for offers.
• Maintain a disciplined follow-up routine for all leads, ensuring regular communication and progress through the pipeline.
• Transform both inbound and outbound leads into funded loans, including re-engaging buyers who do not eventually acquire REO properties.
• Quickly establish rapport with buyers and referral partners, positioning Newrez as the preferred lending partner.
• Ensure that all activities involving borrowers, agents, and transactions are accurately recorded and source-coded in the CRM (SPARK/SalesForce).
• Collaborate with listing agents, internal teams, and operations to facilitate active transactions and provide regular updates on status.
• Utilize product expertise to advise clients on options, including renovation financing (FHA 203(k), HomeStyle) and investor solutions like DSCR and delayed financing.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a producing Loan Officer or mortgage originator.
• Strong background in purchase mortgages, including pre-approval strategies and execution from contract to closing.
• An active NMLS license is required, with the capability to obtain additional state licenses as necessary.
• Experience utilizing a CRM system to manage pipelines, monitor activity, and uphold data integrity.
• Demonstrated ability to handle a high-volume lead funnel with effective follow-up practices.
• Comprehensive understanding of purchase mortgage origination, pipeline management, and conversion metrics.
• Preferred knowledge of renovation and investor loan products (e.g., FHA 203(k), HomeStyle, DSCR, delayed financing).
