Release Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Plan, coordinate, and implement software releases, patches, and system modifications within a SaaS/cloud environment.

• Develop and oversee release timelines, ensuring compliance with established processes, data standards, and integration requirements.

• Recognize interdependencies, risks, and impacts across various programs and proactively address potential issues.

• Collaborate with engineering, product, operations, and support teams to facilitate seamless and stable deployments.

• Clearly communicate release plans, prerequisites, and risks to stakeholders and partner teams.

• Escalate obstacles and drive solutions to maintain the timeline of releases.

• Work alongside customer-facing teams to convert technical updates into clear communication regarding releases.

• Track release performance metrics and lead initiatives for continuous improvement.

• Support enterprise compliance environments, including those governed by regulated cloud frameworks.

• Cultivate and sustain strong cross-functional relationships across teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in release management, program management, or a similar role.

• Experience in supporting regulated cloud environments (e.g., FedRAMP Moderate or High).

• Strong project and program management capabilities with a proven track record of driving initiatives to completion.

• Experience in cross-functional collaboration with engineering, product, operations, and support teams.

• Ability to identify dependencies, manage risks, and proactively eliminate blockers.

• Exceptional communication skills with the capability to articulate complex information clearly.

• Experience in managing release schedules and resolving data or system integration challenges.

• Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to balance speed, quality, and business impact.
