This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Act as the reinsurance domain authority by engaging with prospects and clients during the solution design, discovery, and scoping phases.
• Align client reinsurance programs — including treaty, facultative, assumed, and ceded — with INTX platform capabilities and articulate the functional solution.
• Early identification of discrepancies between client needs and platform functionalities, driving resolution through product, engineering, or adaptable workarounds.
• Take ownership of the functional specifications and implementation tickets, providing the delivery team with a clear and concise build plan.
• Remain actively involved as the reinsurance expert throughout the delivery process, assisting the program manager and ensuring client alignment on reinsurance workstreams.
• Function as the primary contact for all reinsurance-related inquiries from both the client and the internal team.
• Engage in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validation to ensure that reinsurance functionality meets specifications.
• Manage multiple simultaneous engagements while maintaining high quality and client confidence.
• Develop and uphold reinsurance scoping frameworks, requirements templates, and implementation playbooks.
• Serve as the internal Subject Matter Expert (SME) for product, engineering, and delivery teams regarding reinsurance concepts and workflows.
• Provide insights that influence platform direction and roadmap decisions based on genuine client needs.
• Enhance the reinsurance proficiency of the broader team over time.
• 2-3+ years of practical reinsurance experience, whether on the cedant, reinsurer, or broker side.
• In-depth understanding of treaty and facultative structures, cession workflows, recoverables, and Schedule F.
• Proven experience in gathering client requirements or scoping system implementations.
• Capability to convert complex business requirements into structured, actionable specifications.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A Bachelor's degree is required.
• Experience in reinsurance operations, underwriting support, or actuarial exposure is a plus (Nice-to-Have).
• Familiarity with insurance or reinsurance software platforms is a plus (Nice-to-Have).
• Knowledge of P&C markets across carriers and reinsurers is a plus (Nice-to-Have).
• Experience collaborating with technical or engineering teams is a plus (Nice-to-Have).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure is a plus (Nice-to-Have).
• Relevant certifications such as CBAP, PMP, or CSM are a plus (Nice-to-Have).
