Reimbursement Contract Manager – Infusion

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist the intake and reimbursement departments with commercial contracts and government programs.

• Investigate payor contracts and other available documentation.

• Create and update resource documents.

• Liaise with provider relations teams to address issues of contract and/or regulatory non-compliance.

• Examine payor contracts to evaluate intake and reimbursement terms.

• Collaborate with the Managed Markets team to rectify any unfavorable or absent intake and reimbursement contract terms.

• Deliver detailed assessments of any missing or disadvantageous intake and reimbursement contract terms to the VP of Reimbursement and CFO.

• Educate intake and reimbursement teams on payor policies and reimbursement trends.

• Develop, sustain, and oversee all resource documents related to Intake and Reimbursement contracts.

• Foster and uphold productive relationships with both contracted and non-contracted insurance Provider Relations staff.

• Spot opportunities for cost savings and cash collections through analysis of payer reimbursement trends.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree or at least 5 years of experience in Reimbursement/Account Management concerning injectable or infused drugs, or medical devices that necessitate reimbursement support.

• A high school diploma (or equivalent) is mandatory.

• Substantial experience in specialty pharmacy or home infusion is required.

• Proven expertise in handling Medicare, Medicaid, or Managed Care reimbursement matters at both provider and payer levels.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with adept problem-solving and organizational abilities.

• Essential skills include strong business acumen, analytical capabilities, administrative proficiency, and team-building expertise.
