Regulatory Specialist – Supply Chain Support

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assists with the vendor approval process in purchasing by gathering, reviewing, and maintaining documentation for both new and existing raw material suppliers.

• Facilitates communication and coordination between the Purchasing, R&D, QA, and QC departments to complete reviews of new or alternate vendors and raw material supplier information as necessary.

• Organizes, prepares, and submits regulatory documents to customers and other external entities promptly.

• Keeps updated on current and emerging regulations, standards, and guidance documents (such as IFRA, Cosmetics, Kosher, Organic, Fair Trade, Leaping Bunny, etc.) to ensure that Lebermuth consistently delivers outstanding products to our clients.

• Develops and maintains technical files and SOPs, and participates in audits as required to secure approvals and maintain production standards.

• Fulfills Lebermuth's documentation requirements (including equipment logs and regulatory paperwork) to guarantee the safe production and distribution of quality food products.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in a science-related field is preferred.

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience is required.

• If a degree is not held, 2+ years of experience in regulatory or a related field is acceptable.

• Familiarity with Organic Chemistry is advantageous.

• Experience in the Flavor, Fragrance, and/or Chemical industry is preferred.

• Understanding of SQF, cGMP, and HACCP programs is a plus.

• Awareness of DEA, DOT, and FDA regulations is beneficial.

• Strong experience with MRP/ERP systems and knowledge of regulatory-related programs is advantageous.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word, is essential.
