πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Oversee compliance projects related to Low-Acid Canned Food (LACF) and acidified food for both domestic and international manufacturers.

β€’ Prepare, review, and file regulatory documentation to ensure adherence to FDA regulations.

β€’ Act as the main point of contact between clients and regulatory bodies, addressing compliance queries and requirements.

β€’ Evaluate technical and product data to determine regulatory responsibilities and compliance risks.

β€’ Offer regulatory advice and project updates to clients through email, phone, and virtual meetings.

β€’ Keep accurate records of submissions, communications, and project activities.

β€’ Work collaboratively with global cross-functional teams to advance regulatory compliance efforts.

β€’ Lead process enhancements and aid in the creation of regulatory resources and best practices.

β€’ Engage with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and U.S. importers.

β€’ Assist both U.S. and international clients with compliance related to Low-Acid and Acidified Canned Food.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ A bachelor's degree or higher in a scientific field (food science, biochemistry, biology) or a related discipline is mandatory.

β€’ 3-5 years of experience within the compliance and regulatory sector.

β€’ Extensive knowledge of various food-processing operations acquired through training or professional experience.

β€’ BPCS certification is required.

β€’ Familiarity and/or training in conducting or reviewing Heat Penetration, Temperature Distribution, and Aseptic Validation tests.

β€’ Strong understanding of microbiology, thermal processing, and preventive controls.

β€’ Certifications and published research demonstrating knowledge in microbiology, thermal processing, and preventive controls.

β€’ Specialization in food processing and thermally processed food is advantageous but not essential.

β€’ Bilingual abilities in Spanish and English are preferred.

β€’ Must be able to work long-term from one of the supported U.S. states: Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Kansas, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, Nebraska, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, or West Virginia.
