Regulatory Certifications Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Acquiring international regulatory certifications for products related to EMC, Radio & Safety Compliance to facilitate product launches in global markets.

• Monitoring and analyzing changes in international EMC, Radio & Safety Regulatory Compliance standards, assessing their relevance to products based on technology and jurisdiction.

• Overseeing and updating product user documentation, labeling, and retail packaging in response to changes in regulatory requirements.

• Managing products in the sustaining phase to ensure ongoing compliance for continuous market access.

• Coordinating and preparing essential compliance documentation for submission to regulatory bodies, including the creation of Declarations of Conformity (DoC) for product self-declarations.

• Collaborating closely with EMC, Radio & Safety Subject Matter Experts, external regulatory laboratories and agencies, Product Development Engineers, Product Planners, Marketing, User Assistance, global subsidiaries, as well as Legal & Localization services to guarantee that products meet global technical and legal standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or related discipline.

• Over 1 year of experience in International Regulatory Certifications concerning EMC, Radio & Safety Compliance.

• **Skills**

• Proficient in understanding, interpreting, and applying international regulatory requirements for EMC, Radio & Safety Compliance for consumer electronics intended for markets such as the US, Canada, EU, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, India, and China.

• Familiarity with international product marking and user documentation requirements related to the aforementioned areas of Regulatory Compliance.

• Insight into product development and sustaining life cycles, along with the associated impacts on product certifications for launch and ongoing market accessibility.

• Exceptional technical documentation capabilities.

• Strong skills in cross-functional teamwork.
