This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee the ongoing corporate governance and regulatory obligations for Globalli's global entities.
• Keep track of calendars related to corporate, regulatory, tax, employment, and other entity-level responsibilities, ensuring all deadlines are adhered to.
• Facilitate registrations, renewals, licenses, permits, statutory filings, and any necessary submissions for entities.
• Ensure the accuracy of corporate records, registrations, certificates, corporate documents, and information regarding directors and officers.
• Stay updated on local regulatory changes and collaborate with Legal, Finance, HR, Payroll, Compliance, and external advisors for necessary actions.
• Spot and report compliance gaps and forthcoming requirements.
• Foster relationships with corporate service providers, legal advisors, accountants, payroll partners, and various vendors.
• Evaluate and compare vendor services and fees, supporting negotiations and renewals.
• Oversee the establishment, modification, closure, reorganization, and other activities related to corporate structures.
• Assist in creating scalable processes as Globalli enters new markets and grows internationally.
• Act as the internal subject matter expert and primary coordination point for governance and regulatory obligations.
• Educate stakeholders on entity requirements, timelines, and their responsibilities.
• Maintain centralized systems for records and documentation.
• Create standardized processes, documentation, reporting, dashboards, and compliance workflows.
• Proactively identify and manage the resolution of entity-related risks and challenges.
• 3 to 5+ years of experience in international entity management, corporate governance, regulatory affairs, legal operations, compliance, or a related field.
• Proven experience managing entities across various countries and jurisdictions.
• Background in collaborating with external legal, accounting, corporate services, or regulatory partners.
• Strong grasp of corporate governance and entity compliance procedures.
• Preferred professional background in legal, paralegal, corporate services, compliance, or similar fields.
• Exceptional project management and organizational abilities with the capacity to handle multiple countries, vendors, and deadlines concurrently.
• Keen attention to detail and proficiency in maintaining accurate records and documentation.
• Capability to interpret regulatory requirements and coordinate suitable actions with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong skills in vendor management and negotiation, including the ability to assess service levels and costs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working autonomously in a dynamic international environment where processes are continuously adapting.
• Strong judgment and the ability to escalate issues appropriately rather than offering legal advice beyond your area of expertise.
