This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• Collaborate effectively with Rehabilitation and Pain Management provider teams as well as clinic personnel to deliver professional nursing care.
• Develop and execute nursing care plans within the boundaries of your license.
• Communicate test outcomes, schedule specialized tests and treatments, provide prescription instructions, and educate patients.
• Accurately document treatments in medical records.
• Triage patient inquiries via phone and offer nursing advice.
• Manage calls related to appointments, urgent care, inpatient admissions, prescription refills, and test results.
• Coordinate the appropriate handling of patient calls in accordance with clinic protocols.
• Complete or review healthcare documentation for home health care, referrals, medical equipment, and other patient or physician requirements.
• Assist with managed care authorizations and complete insurance and medical forms.
• Support patient flow and the overall clinic workflow.
• Work in partnership with clinic staff to ensure high-quality and efficient patient service.
• Uphold patient confidentiality at all times.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• An Associate’s Degree in Nursing is required.
• Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education on an equivalent basis.
• A current Wisconsin RN License is mandatory.
• No prior experience is necessary.
• Previous experience in a clinic, doctor's office, or urgent care setting is preferred.
• Strong leadership, team-building, and decision-making skills are essential.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, identify and solve problems, and delegate effectively.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities are required.
• Capability to assess and triage patients effectively.
• Dependability and maintenance of confidentiality are crucial.
• Ability to recognize and interpret speech or other forms of communication.
• Occasional ability to distinguish colors and perceive relative distances between objects may be necessary.
• Must be able to occasionally lift moderate-weight materials and stand or walk continuously.
