Registered Nurse

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Advocate and implement a comprehensive, client-focused approach to home care, emphasizing client needs and rights in accordance with Consumer Directed Care principles.

• Participate in assessments, prevention strategies, early detection, referrals, health promotion, and funding initiatives.

• Provide thorough, safe, effective, evidence-based care that aligns with current nursing care protocols.

• Maintain compliance with common law, regulatory and state legislation, as well as organizational policies and procedures.

• Develop, review, and conduct case conferences for care plans as necessary.

• Ensure that care plans accurately represent client needs and facilitate Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI) funding.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree is required; a degree in Nursing or Healthcare is preferred.

• Consideration will be given to other related fields or equivalent work experience.

• Preferred candidates will have minimal experience as a Registered Nurse in a hospital, clinical, or residential environment.

• A Registered Nurse with certification from the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) is required.

• Proficiency in patient care and medical procedures is essential.

• Strong understanding of Clinical Assessment, Medication Administration & Monitoring, Person-Centered Practice, and Quality Care Service Management.

• Exceptional communication, adaptive thinking, planning and prioritization, and teamwork skills are necessary.
