Registered Dietitian, Telehealth

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Deliver comprehensive nutritional therapy and weight management coaching through a cohesive multichannel digital platform, incorporating video, voice, and instant messaging.

• Execute virtual consultations to evaluate nutritional requirements and develop personalized behavior modification plans.

• Offer medication management assistance for obesity-related comorbidities under the guidance of designated physicians.

• Participate in remote patient monitoring utilizing digital tools (e.g., scales, blood glucose meters, blood pressure monitors).

• Aid patients with the dosing and titration of anti-obesity medications following established protocols.

• Apply motivational interviewing and therapeutic alliance techniques to attain sustainable health outcomes.

• Keep precise client records and documentation promptly using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.

• Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.

• Current state licensure/certification (if required by the state).

• Willingness and capability to acquire additional state licenses as necessary.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient or weight management environments is preferred.

• Proficiency with technology, electronic medical records, and the ability to work in a HIPAA-compliant home setting.

• CDCES certification (Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist) is preferred.

• Availability during evenings and Saturdays is preferred.
