Registered Dietitian, Telehealth

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide comprehensive nutrition counseling and weight management education through phone, video, chat, text, and email.

• Administer medication management and support for obesity-related comorbidities under the guidance of designated physicians.

• Participate in remote patient monitoring utilizing various devices (e.g., scale, BG meter, BP monitor, ketone meter).

• Assist patients with the dosing and titration of anti-obesity medications following established protocols.

• Work collaboratively with team physicians and external healthcare providers to deliver holistic care.

• Quickly build rapport and therapeutic relationships with a diverse array of patients.

• Employ motivational interviewing and other strategies to facilitate behavior change.

• Consistently achieve program metrics while upholding high standards of care.

• Ensure timely completion of all required documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a Registered Dietitian accredited by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.

• If necessary, you must possess state licensure.

• Willingness and capability to obtain additional state licenses as required for member coverage.

• Ability to incorporate constructive feedback to enhance patient interactions.

• Must have a HIPAA-compliant workspace with high-speed internet for secure patient communications.

• Comfortable with advanced technology, including electronic medical records and various digital tools.

• Proven ability to adapt communication methods to cater to the needs of a diverse patient population.

• Flexible schedule, committing to a minimum of 20 hours per week.

• Cannot be concurrently employed full-time elsewhere.

• Must reside in the United States.
