This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma.
• Support patients and their families in transforming maladaptive eating behaviors into a healthier relationship with food.
• Create and execute personalized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each patient to promote their progress.
• Facilitate the process of exposure to fear or challenge foods.
• Relay the patient's meal plan and any pertinent nutrition-related concerns to all team members, providing education on how to address or resolve these issues.
• Reinforce the directives of the treatment team during interactions with families.
• Aid in discharge planning and update treatment plans weekly based on the patient's progress.
• Continuously reassess nutritional needs and communicate recommendations to both the treatment team and families.
• Provide evidence-based nutrition education aimed at challenging irrational thoughts and beliefs about food and nutrition.
• Build a therapeutic relationship with families, including establishing rapport, setting appropriate boundaries, and collaborating with the team and family to achieve treatment goals.
• Maintain thorough documentation within Equip’s electronic medical record system, adhering to Equip’s policies and procedures.
• A minimum of a bachelor's degree or coursework accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) is required.
• Must hold a licensed RDN, with preference given to those with experience in eating disorders.
• Manage a caseload of up to 80 patients, each receiving care for a duration of up to 52 weeks.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, particularly when working with diverse teams.
• Experience in interdisciplinary team settings is essential.
• Highly organized and results-oriented.
• Capacity to understand and balance clinical priorities with business needs.
• Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment subject to rapid changes and innovations.
