This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +8 more states.
• Support patients and their families in transforming maladaptive eating behaviors into a healthy relationship with food through continuous assistance.
• Create and execute personalized treatment plans that cater to the individual needs of patients to enhance their progress.
• Facilitate exposure to fear or challenge foods during the treatment process.
• Clearly communicate the patient's meal plan and any specific nutrition-related concerns to all team members.
• Reinforce the treatment team's directives in conversations with families.
• Assist in planning for patient discharge.
• Regularly update treatment plans to reflect the patient's progress, treatment objectives, and nutrition-related assignments or concerns.
• Continuously reassess nutritional requirements and provide recommendations to the treatment team and families.
• Provide evidence-based nutrition education aimed at addressing irrational thoughts and beliefs regarding food and nutrition.
• Build a therapeutic relationship with families, focusing on rapport building and establishing appropriate boundaries.
• Maintain thorough documentation within Equip’s electronic medical record system.
• A minimum of a bachelor's degree or coursework accredited or approved by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) is required.
• Must be a licensed Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), with preference given to candidates with experience in eating disorders.
• Capable of managing a caseload of up to 80 patients, with care durations of up to 52 weeks for each patient.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with diverse teams are essential.
• Experience working within interdisciplinary teams is beneficial.
• Must be organized and results-oriented.
• Ability to balance business needs with clinical priorities is necessary.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that is subject to rapid changes and innovations.
