
Regional Vice President β Life Insurance Distribution

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Drive sales growth in the region, achieving new business and meeting quarterly/annual sales objectives.
β’ Recognize market opportunities and create strategic growth plans with distribution targets.
β’ Implement sales and marketing strategies that promote profitable business expansion.
β’ Ensure business persistency and uphold quality standards.
β’ Identify, recruit, and nurture distribution partners and producers.
β’ Build and maintain relationships with IMOs, MGAs, General Agents, and producers.
β’ Oversee the onboarding and integration process for new distribution partners.
β’ Conduct agency visits and maintain ongoing communication with key partners.
β’ Perform business reviews to assess production outcomes and growth opportunities.
β’ Track sales performance against predetermined sales and business goals.
β’ Create and execute action plans to enhance results and address performance discrepancies.
β’ Act as a subject matter expert on the company's product offerings and sales solutions.
β’ Assist in new product launches and promote currently available product offerings.
β’ Facilitate live/virtual presentations, workshops, and training sessions.
β’ Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to improve field effectiveness.
β’ Work with internal departments to address operational and service-related challenges.
β’ Bachelor's degree.
β’ 7 years of experience in the insurance industry.
β’ Proven knowledge of life insurance products, including Whole Life, Indexed Universal Life, Term Life, and annuities.
β’ Understanding of life insurance marketing principles.
β’ Demonstrated success in recruiting producing independent distribution partners, such as IMOs, MGAs, PPGAs, and writing agents.
β’ Exceptional verbal, written, consultative selling, and presentation abilities.
β’ Proven capability to collaborate across various functions, including Operations, Marketing, and sales teams.
β’ Willingness and capacity to travel 50% or more.
β’ Preferred experience in sales territory management.
β’ Preferred existing relationships with insurance agencies, producers, and potential distribution contacts.
β’ Preferred experience in leading business reviews, sales planning discussions, and product or concept-based training sessions.
β’ Preferred proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, business technology, sales reporting tools, presentation software, and insurance sales illustration software.
β’ Bilingual English and Spanish skills are a plus.
