
Regional Vice President, Charter Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the daily operations, performance metrics, compliance, and student achievement within the charter school portfolio.
• Directly manage Charter Academy Directors and their respective teams.
• Hold academy leaders responsible for meeting goals related to enrollment, retention, engagement, credit accumulation, graduation, and financial performance.
• Recruit, mentor, develop, and retain leaders within the academies.
• Ensure the uniform application of the Acceleration Academies model across all charter academies.
• Promote growth in enrollment, student retention, attendance, engagement, credit accumulation, and graduation rates.
• Track student success indicators and enact interventions when performance does not meet standards.
• Collaborate effectively with Enrollment, Student Services, and Academic teams.
• Ensure adherence to charter contracts, state laws, federal regulations, and internal policies.
• Lead audits, monitoring reviews, charter renewals, and evaluations of accountability.
• Develop operational and compliance systems and procedures across multiple states.
• Identify potential risks and implement necessary corrective measures.
• Ensure all reporting, documentation, attendance, assessment, and accountability standards are fulfilled.
• Provide governing boards and authorizers with pertinent operational, academic, financial, and compliance data.
• Aid in the preparation of board reports, accountability updates, performance dashboards, and governance documentation.
• Implement policies approved by the board, along with charter commitments and strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate on charter renewal efforts, expansion plans, and strategic growth objectives.
• Assist in authorizer reviews, site visits, and evaluations of charter performance.
• Supervise charter school operations across various states.
• Support the establishment and integration of new charter schools and partnerships.
• Enhance operational efficiency, scalability, and student outcomes throughout the charter portfolio.
• A Bachelor's degree is required.
• A Master's degree in Education, Educational Leadership, Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in educational leadership is necessary.
• At least 3 years of experience supervising multiple schools, sites, or educational programs is required.
• Proven success in managing multiple charter school locations is essential.
• Strong preference for candidates with experience overseeing charter schools across various states.
• Demonstrated experience in driving enrollment growth, enhancing student retention, and improving academic performance outcomes.
• Familiarity with charter accountability, compliance, governance, and operational management.
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing organizational change is crucial.
• A strong leadership presence with the ability to inspire, coach, and hold teams accountable.
• Strategic thinking skills with the capability to translate vision into actionable plans.
