This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Assist in annual and regional training efforts alongside Channel Sales Managers and local sales teams.
• Manage training schedules encompassing welding techniques, product ranges, technologies, and applications specific to the market.
• Oversee distributor enrollment and logistical arrangements for regional training initiatives.
• Aid in distributor onboarding, reinforce value propositions, and promote program participation.
• Engage in joint calls and co-facilitate training sessions with distributor partners.
• Provide technical training through various formats including in-person instruction, hands-on demonstrations, webinars, virtual sessions, and e-learning.
• Customize training to suit various learning preferences and levels of experience.
• Organize technology seminars, segment-targeted events, and Train-the-Trainer programs.
• Showcase cross-brand, application-oriented ITW solutions.
• Act as a regional technical advisor on welding techniques and ITW welding offerings.
• Collaborate with ITW Welding divisions to instruct distributors, educators, and industrial clients.
• Develop presentations, videos, digital materials, instructional guides, and other training resources.
• Assess training needs and coordinate course timelines.
• Ensure a comprehensive and professional customer learning experience.
• Uphold training facilities, equipment, and safety protocols.
• Keep CRM and LMS records updated with training sessions, attendance, and results.
• Measure training effectiveness, incorporate feedback, address knowledge gaps, and foster continuous improvement.
• Over 5 years of practical welding experience with expertise in SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, and FCAW; CWI certification is preferred.
• Background in training, sales enablement, technical instruction, or field demonstrations; experience with laser/automated welding is advantageous.
• Excellent presentation, facilitation, coaching, influencing, communication, and teamwork abilities.
• Technical proficiency with a solid grasp of ITW products, processes, and technologies.
• Proficiency in CRM and LMS systems.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and capability to work independently.
• Diplomatic and effective in managing diverse perspectives.
• Familiarity with instructional design and principles of adult learning is preferred.
• Willingness to travel 40–60% within the region.
