This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• Accountable for all customer locations (both direct and indirect) within a specified geographic area, with a focus on nurturing OEM/machine builder partnerships.
• Propel specifications for new designs and gain traction on existing designs at customer sites.
• Collaborate with our Distributor Commercial team when jointly pursuing business opportunities with end customers.
• Engage effectively in a team selling atmosphere alongside Customer Service, Application Engineering, Product Line Managers, Manufacturing Engineering, and other relevant team members.
• Influence purchasing choices across various organizational tiers.
• Implement structured selling processes to meet sales targets through purposeful account planning, effective time and territory management, and proficient funnel opportunity management/CRM usage.
• Educate OEMs and distributors about the unique advantages and value of Regal Rexnord Linear Motion Products as needed.
• Assist customers in finding tailored solutions when standard, off-the-shelf products fall short of their needs.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor by establishing productive, professional relationships with key distributors, facilitating collaborative selling at indirect accounts.
• Proactively evaluate, clarify, and validate customer requirements through the QBR (Quarterly Business Review) process.
• Optimize new business development and marketing-driven opportunities.
• Maintain a strong technical understanding of Thomson Linear motion Products within the targeted markets by engaging technical support resources as needed.
• Create and uphold a Key Account Management Plan (KAMP) for strategically significant accounts; utilize CRM to coordinate initiatives and manage opportunities.
• Lead discussions with customer stakeholders to uncover ideas and concerns, guiding groups toward solutions using a consultative approach (Teach / Tailor / Take Control).
• Regularly communicate market conditions to leadership, including trends in industry segments, competitor actions, and sought-after product features/benefits.
• Represent the organization at trade shows, conferences, and partner events as necessary.
• BA/BS in Industrial Technologies, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Business, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in outside technical sales within an industrial or manufacturing setting, ideally involving motion control or electromechanical products.
• Over 3 years of outside technical sales experience; motion control experience with motors/drives/controls is preferred; strong mechanical aptitude is essential.
• Outstanding presentation, communication, and negotiation abilities.
• Advanced analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
• Familiarity with CRM systems, Policy Deployment, 80/20 methodologies, forecasting, and reporting tools.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Power BI, Teams, and Excel is preferred.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in an additional language such as Spanish, French, or Italian is desirable but not mandatory.
