This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Establishing and overseeing quotas, commissions, and various sales management responsibilities for the sales team.
• Coaching, mentoring, and nurturing our junior sales personnel to facilitate their professional development and achieve targets.
• Generating new leads and opportunities through proactive outreach, referrals/introductions, industry events, and other channels, along with managing and responding to incoming inquiries.
• Achieving ambitious sales targets by managing the sales pipeline to closure, which includes screening, qualifying, conducting on-farm demonstrations, and effectively negotiating contracts with clients.
• Working alongside Customer Success to ensure a seamless transition after sales, successful implementations, customer satisfaction, and account renewals.
• Offering support, insights, and communication to help cultivate trusting and lasting relationships with customers during the deployment phase.
• Capitalizing on opportunities and engaging in relevant industry/Halter events and demonstrations.
• Building and leveraging relationships within the industry to establish and sustain Halter's brand presence.
• Prioritizing customer needs and providing feedback to influence the product roadmap.
• Collaborating with the team to enhance and evolve the sales process, making it quicker, more efficient, and more predictable as the company scales.
• A comprehensive end-to-end sales skill set with a minimum of five years of experience.
• Demonstrated success in sourcing new prospects, securing meetings with leads, and creating new sales opportunities.
• A highly experienced individual in value-based sales with a proven track record of closing deals and achieving high sales volumes.
• Well-prepared with strong communication skills to effectively present Halter's value proposition.
• Experience in dairy farming or the agricultural sector is essential.
• A results-driven, highly motivated individual with outstanding time management abilities.
• Ability to adapt in a high-pressure sales environment and think quickly on your feet.
• Sales experience in the technology sector is preferred.
• A university degree or equivalent qualification is desirable, but not mandatory.
