This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.
• Meet the established sales, distribution, and expenditure goals by effectively overseeing and directing the operations of the secondary sales team.
• Ensure that the annual sales and distribution targets of distributor branches are broken down into monthly objectives for the individual secondary sales force.
• Collaborate with Distributor Branch Managers to plan trade activities for the upcoming month, utilizing scorecards and monitoring progress against agreed timelines throughout the month.
• Assess the performance of Distributor branches quarterly, using the Business Review Template.
• Develop plans and promotional initiatives aimed at enhancing distribution, managing trade stock levels, merchandising, or increasing sales opportunities.
• Implement distribution guidelines via the MUST CARRY LIST to accomplish the targeted distribution goals by outlet category.
• Ensure compliance with the company's merchandising standards.
• Maintain proper warehouse practices within the distributor's storage facilities.
• Verify that the distributor adheres to the terms and conditions outlined in the distributor agreement.
• Support the Distributor Manager in enhancing the competencies of the secondary sales force through coaching and field accompaniment.
• Ensure that distributor claims are submitted in accordance with finance requirements and within deadlines.
• Regularly report on competitive activities.
• Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience within an FMCG environment.
• Experience in the distributor channel is preferred.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• Proficiency in additional Chinese dialects is a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities and a strong ability to collaborate with others.
• Capacity to work independently, take initiative, and assume responsibility when necessary.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
