
Regional Sales Manager – E-Commerce

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• You will actively build a new customer pipeline in e-commerce and attract scalable merchants and digital business models for Nexi.
• Proactive new customer acquisition in e-commerce (inbound and outbound, social/content prospecting, events) with a clear target quota; establishment and maintenance of a potential database including prioritization.
• Focus on mid-market e-commerce merchants with specific volume targets, a strong emphasis on closing deals, and short to mid-cycle management.
• Qualification, consulting, and price/contract negotiations up to signature (including multi-tiered proposals and participation in tenders when necessary).
• Management of the entire deal cycle (Lead → Opportunity → Proposal → Closing) and handover to the regional/farmer team after activation.
• Market and competitive analyses, identifying trends (PSP/gateways, checkout, orchestration, risk/fraud, unified, local payment methods).
• Presentations/demos (remote & on-site), trade shows/events, as well as collaboration with multipliers (ISVs, agencies, marketplaces). Close cooperation within regional sales and with adjacent teams.
• Over 3 years of sales experience in new business B2B in payment/e-commerce/SaaS or proven hunter success in the mid-market segment.
• Deep understanding of e-commerce tech stacks (shop systems & plugins, payment APIs/SDKs, checkout/tokenization, APMs, fraud/risk basics) and commercial levers (conversion, acceptance, fees, TCO).
• Proven strength in structured outbound sales: prospecting, multi-threading, clean CRM funnel, reliable forecasts; proficient in structured methodologies.
• Team player with a high level of personal responsibility, strong presentation skills, and the ability to explain complex solutions simply.
• Negotiation skills in German (native level) & English.
• Willingness to travel nationwide with a Class B driver's license (3).
