This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Accountable for achieving and surpassing established revenue goals for the OEM Business unit, including embedded and RF product lines.
• Formulate and execute efficient account and territory plans that encompass developing a sales strategy aimed at maximizing growth and managing all necessary resources to secure opportunities and foster new business.
• Attain a comprehensive understanding of essential customer needs and requirements; aid in identifying opportunities for additional value creation for the customer and construct a compelling value proposition grounded in Digi’s product and service offerings.
• Recognize key opportunities and collaborate with relevant Digi teams in both Europe and the US to successfully drive these opportunities to revenue recognition.
• Engage in disciplined project tracking with key customers to ensure a high success rate in design wins.
• Serve as the primary driver for commercial negotiations, encompassing pricing, business terms, and, when applicable, partnership agreements.
• Compile regular progress reports and forecasts for both internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.
• Offer insights and recommendations for products and vertical market strategies informed by your market and customer observations.
• Support the promotion and training of partners and end users in embedded and RF products as needed.
• Provide essential support for all regional marketing initiatives, including workshops, road shows, trade shows, and any other planned activities.
• Prepare reporting and forecasting for internal and external stakeholders utilizing key account metrics.
• Bachelor's degree in technology.
• A minimum of 3 years of successful sales experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Relevant sales experience, particularly in nurturing key relationships within strategic accounts.
• Experience in System on Module (SOM) and board-level RF sales, along with familiarity with embedded hardware and software system requirements, is essential.
• Knowledge of software or cloud-based solutions and recurring revenue models would be advantageous.
• Outstanding presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
• Highly self-motivated, ambitious, and disciplined with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate with diverse sales and technical teams at all organizational levels.
• Must be willing to travel approximately 50% of the time.
• Proficient in both written and spoken native German and fluent English.
• Experience selling or working in other territories and/or proficiency in additional languages would be a plus.
