This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Create and implement a regional business strategy aimed at meeting and surpassing sales and margin objectives.
• Formulate clear and targeted strategies, plans, and goals for identified key groups, ensuring alignment with Axis' go-to-market approach while collaborating closely with other regional sales leaders.
• Deliver monthly updates on strategic initiatives, current progress, and potential opportunities to management.
• Establish, nurture, and enhance relationships with clients and partners to facilitate sales, promote opportunities, and provide insights for improving Axis' offerings.
• Identify and develop essential integration partners and A&E specifiers to boost the adoption of Axis' access control and audio solutions.
• Explore new markets and innovative solutions to create additional sales avenues.
• Meet monthly and annual sales targets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to eliminate obstacles in expanding the audio business.
• Act as an internal resource and subject matter expert, aiding sales & marketing initiatives, educational services, demonstrations, and competitive analysis within the Midwest Business Area.
• Provide precise forecasts and reports on activities and sales pipelines utilizing CRM tools.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training in electronic trades.
• 3-5+ years of experience in a sales-oriented role.
• Proficiency in Salesforce is preferred.
• Experience in the audio industry is essential!
• Strong technical expertise to effectively demonstrate Axis audio solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of the audio markets, including familiarity with products and emerging trends in security, public address, and emergency communications.
• Excellent project management abilities with a keen attention to detail.
• Proven track record in cultivating strategic and trusted relationships across all organizational levels, both internally and externally.
• Technical proficiency with a background as a subject matter expert in business positioning and win strategies.
• Strong connections within security and IT professional organizations or associations.
• Outstanding communication, public speaking, presentation, training, and listening capabilities.
• Driven team player with a strategic vision and the capacity to develop comprehensive plans.
