This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Puerto Rico.
• Directly report to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing.
• Create and implement strategies to expand MD&A’s sales presence in the region, with the goal of achieving set sales and order targets.
• Identify, cultivate, and secure business opportunities within the Industrial, Gas, and Steam Turbine/Generator market.
• Foster and sustain robust client relationships, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of customer needs and organizational challenges.
• Deliver technical expertise and solutions to clients, driving business growth and enhancing MD&A’s market presence.
• Collaborate with internal teams and divisions to maximize cross-selling opportunities and improve overall corporate performance.
• Prepare and present annual territory plans, quarterly progress updates, and sales forecasts.
• Submit weekly sales call reports, updates, and opportunity tracking.
• Engage in frequent travel throughout Latin America, including the Caribbean Basin, Mexico, Central and South America, approximately 50-75% of the time.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution; an Engineering degree is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Turbine and Generator technology.
• Experience with OEM and/or Electric Utility is advantageous.
• At least 5 years of experience in sales and technical field services, focusing on General Electric and/or Siemens-Westinghouse installations, parts, repairs, and maintenance services.
• Fluency in both Spanish and English is mandatory; proficiency in Portuguese is a plus.
• Cross-cultural skills and an understanding of international marketplace requirements.
