This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Propel profitable sales expansion throughout Eastern Canada for the Shawflex division.
• Establish connections with end users, engineering firms, EPCs, contractors, OEMs, distributors, and key decision-makers.
• Advance product specifications through customer visits, meetings, presentations, and technical sales.
• Create and implement regional sales strategies and channel distribution plans.
• Oversee customer accounts and sales opportunities from qualification to quotation and order fulfillment.
• Foster distributor and Sales Agent relationships through training, joint customer initiatives, and demand-generation activities.
• Collaborate with Inside Sales and internal teams to capitalize on sales opportunities.
• Prepare customer quotes in accordance with approval protocols.
• Collect, analyze, and disseminate market intelligence.
• Maintain customer and opportunity data within the CRM system.
• Engage in trade shows, customer events, and industry networking.
• Generate sales forecasts, market updates, monthly reports, budgets, and sales roadmaps for leadership.
• Coordinate sales projects, distributor programs, and customer initiatives while influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, environmental, ethics, and corporate policies.
• Travel extensively within the territory.
• A College Diploma (3-year program) is required; a University Degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of sales and/or marketing experience; 5 to 7 years is preferred.
• Experience in the wire and cable industry or a similar technical market.
• Industry background in the electrical, automotive, or electronics sectors.
• Proficiency in both French and English, both written and spoken.
• Proven success in technical sales, end-use specification, channel management, and account development.
• Experience in managing distributors, Sales Agents, and complex customer relationships.
• Strong understanding of sales planning, forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and market analysis.
• Ability to influence engineering firms, contractors, OEMs, procurement teams, and key stakeholders.
• Experience in delivering technical presentations and commercial proposals.
• Proficient with CRM systems and business reporting tools.
• Excellent customer-service orientation, relationship-building, negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Capability to work independently, lead through influence, and collaborate effectively across multiple business functions.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently throughout Eastern Canada.
