This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Asia.
• Review, enhance, and execute Regional Sales strategies, which encompass forecasting revenue and growth plans, monthly sales initiatives, and quarterly budget assessments.
• Develop and manage customer account plans as needed, effectively communicating strategies and roadmaps.
• Maintain a strong understanding of BAPI’s business practices, including pricing structures, revenue forecasting, terms and conditions, and adherence to the code of ethics.
• Acquire comprehensive knowledge of assigned markets while fostering high engagement levels with customers to uncover new opportunities.
• Proactively align with current accounts and secure new business opportunities.
• Provide effective leadership aimed at meeting and surpassing projected revenue targets.
• Continuously provide feedback between Key Account Specialists, distribution sales, and other teams to ensure the availability of necessary resources.
• Create and manage Distribution Infrastructure: Develop and implement the assigned Regional Distribution Sales plans, including revenue forecasting, growth strategies, monthly sales planning, quarterly budget evaluations, and distributor-specific programs.
• Establish distribution strategies, incentives, and objectives for products.
• Develop and manage the distributor account plan while effectively communicating strategies and roadmaps.
• Ensure pricing structures, terms and conditions, and adherence to the code of ethics are maintained when working with new and existing partners.
• Cultivate in-depth knowledge of assigned markets (distributors) and enhance engagement with distributors to identify new opportunities.
• Lead and develop Sales technical and support staff by offering assistance in daily operations.
• Coordinate work activities of team members as necessary, identifying their skills to coach, mentor, and assist in enhancing their work knowledge, skills, performance, efficiency, and overall quality.
• Provide leadership for Sales Staff by offering guidance and training as needed, including formulating and proposing solutions to meet customer HVAC/R requirements.
• Conduct presentations for new and existing customers utilizing BAPI tools.
• Actively engage in closing deals and finalizing contracts.
• Achieve established sales quotas and revenue targets.
• Submit and approve pre-travel plans, post-travel reports, and ensure timely actions on action items.
• Perform daily administrative tasks such as maintaining information files and developing and presenting reports.
• Foster a productive, collaborative, and innovative work environment.
• Establish contacts, research customer needs, and effectively develop product applications by assisting in determining market strategies and objectives for products.
• Stay informed about activities, industry trends, and government regulations.
• Build positive, long-term relationships with internal and external customers through understanding their business, listening to their needs, and promoting suitable BAPI products.
• Research and compile lists of potential customers.
• Assist in market research to ascertain customer needs and provide relevant information to other staff members.
• Evaluate product marketability concerning customers’ technical and manufacturing requirements.
• Resolve issues with products and services, involving other departments as necessary.
• Document all customer interactions in accordance with established procedures.
• Collaborate with Marketing to ensure the availability of necessary materials and documents.
• Participate in the development of new products, modifications of existing products, and discontinuation of ineffective products in a professional manner by evaluating product marketability and forecasting sales.
• Recommend new technical products and product modifications or terminations.
• Gather, analyze, and share customer technical information and feedback.
• Collaborate with the BAPI team to identify current and future customer needs.
• Assess customer satisfaction regarding products and services.
• Must reside within the designated Asia region.
• Fluency in English is required (primary working language).
• Willingness and ability to travel within the region as business needs dictate.
• Strong understanding of regional business practices and cultural norms.
• Self-motivated professional comfortable working independently across international markets.
• Develop and implement business development strategies to enhance BAPI’s presence across Asian markets.
• Build robust relationships with distributors, partners, and customers throughout the region.
• Identify new avenues for growth and market expansion.
• Travel within the region to support partner engagement, customer relationships, and sales development.
• Represent BAPI professionally across diverse cultures and business environments.
