Regional Sales Manager – APAC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.

📋 Description

• Develop and maintain enduring relationships with key customers, partners, and distributors.

• Collaborate with representatives, VARs, and channel partners to broaden market reach and generate new opportunities.

• Oversee strategic accounts with a focus on retention, growth, and customer satisfaction.

• Work alongside Product Sales Managers to facilitate meetings, demonstrations, and solution alignment.

• Represent the organization at regional trade shows and industry events.

• Manage customer issues from start to finish, coordinating internal resources for resolution.

• Present account strategies and growth plans to Sales Leadership, complete with clear execution roadmaps.

• Design and execute targeted campaigns to unlock regional growth potential.

• Innovate and customize engagement strategies to enhance customer trust and loyalty.

• Assess and qualify opportunities based on strategic fit and business potential.

• Lead bid/no-bid and Price-to-Win analyses, providing clear recommendations.

• Align customer needs with company capabilities to ensure solution relevance.

• Deliver timely quotes and pre-sales support for standard product offerings.

• Drive pursuit strategies for significant opportunities, both within and across regions.

• Collaborate with Central Account Managers and Product Line Sales to meet complex needs.

• Coordinate cross-functional contributions to produce high-quality, customer-centric proposals.

• Monitor market trends and customer feedback to guide product and sales strategies.

• Assist in the development of marketing materials and sales enablement tools.

• Share competitive insights with Sales Intelligence and Product teams.

• Propose new market strategies to boost growth and profitability.

• Maintain precise and up-to-date opportunity data within CRM systems.

• Conduct regular funnel reviews to ensure the integrity and visibility of the pipeline.

• Participate in post-proposal reviews to capture valuable lessons learned.

• Present quarterly plans to the Regional Director, including gap-to-close analysis.

• Highlight overlapping pursuits and coordinate efforts to streamline engagement.

• Assist with annual quota-setting processes in collaboration with Sales Operations.

• Provide timely reporting inputs across weekly, monthly, and quarterly cycles.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field (equivalent industry experience may be accepted).

• Strong understanding of SATCOM markets and technologies.

• Demonstrated experience in account management and customer engagement.

• Proficient knowledge of funnel management and pipeline maintenance.

• Familiar with CRM systems and best practices for data integrity.

• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally within the APAC territory (50%–75%).

• Comfortable working remotely and independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Flexibility to accommodate customer needs during occasional evenings and weekends.

• Capability to lift and manage up to 15 lbs. for trade show and demonstration setups.
