This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Engaging in strategic planning discussions with the sales management team on a quarterly and annual basis.
• Conveying corporate strategies to employees within the German region.
• Organizing and overseeing activities, including sales pipeline generation, forecasting, and the development and satisfaction of customer relationships.
• Setting short-term and long-term objectives, metrics, and quotas aligned with corporate and regional goals.
• Identifying and allocating necessary resources to support the sales strategy in Germany.
• Recognizing and qualifying key sales opportunities at the management level within the German region.
• Serving as a coach, mentor, and educator to all Regional Sales Managers in the German region.
• Selecting, developing, and assessing personnel to ensure sales targets are achieved.
• Keeping senior leadership updated on significant issues and changes that may affect anticipated business outcomes.
• Demonstrated experience, knowledge, and connections within the German New Business market, particularly in the technology sector.
• Required experience in a frontline sales leadership role and previous involvement in a people leadership capacity.
• Strong skills in relationship building and executive-level negotiations.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with peers across various functions, including Channel, Marketing, Sales Operations, System Engineering, Services Customer Support, and Product Development.
• Proven track record as a successful Regional Sales Director, consistently exceeding assigned sales quotas in the German region.
• Experience in target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques.
• An aptitude for comprehending how technology products and solutions address business challenges.
• A solid understanding of Cybersecurity technologies and competitive offerings in the market is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience collaborating with Sales organizations and technical teams.
• Proven ability to manage professional-level employees effectively.
• Capability to cultivate a positive work environment and attitude.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken German and English.
