This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Oversee CRM sales of Abbott products and/or services within a designated region.
• Identify and assess market opportunities and sales potential to set and achieve sales and clinical goals.
• Lead and mentor territory managers and clinical specialists.
• Complete authorization training to support CRM protocols and provide effective clinical coaching.
• Assist with contract negotiations, customer engagement, performance management, and the development of clinical competencies.
• Guide teams on CRM protocols and promote ongoing education.
• Formulate regional sales strategies and meet franchise objectives.
• Support and reach the regional sales plan.
• Recruit, onboard, mentor, and develop direct reports.
• Organize team calls, discovery workshops, regional meetings, and individual discussions.
• Support quarterly objectives, development plans, and annual performance reviews.
• Drive planning for customer and account engagement.
• Prepare regional sales forecasts, market potential evaluations, and CRM sales expense projections.
• Ensure sales accountability through precise forecasting.
• Travel with the team to engage customers and enhance clinical competencies and sales.
• Foster cross-functional collaborations with marketing, training, enterprise accounts, and clinical trial teams.
• Monitor adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Assist with case support, proctor planning, and conflict resolution.
• Manage the annual regional budget and approve expense reports for direct reports.
• Complete vendor credentialing for hospital access as necessary.
• Stay updated on regulatory requirements, company products, markets, objectives, and industry trends.
• Address complex challenges and devise innovative solutions.
• Report directly to the US Area Vice President.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressively responsible experience in Tachycardia/Bradycardia product areas or a similar discipline, with direct experience in CRM product sales preferred.
• Demonstrated sales and clinical performance in the cardiology/cardiovascular sector.
• Capability to lead workstreams and initiatives using critical thinking skills.
• Ability to provide guidance and track the progress of direct reports in relation to clinical and sales objectives, quality, outcomes, and performance metrics.
• Competence to work within a quality system environment.
• Solutions-oriented, fact-based approach to problem-solving.
• Assurance that vendor credentialing requirements will be met, which may include COVID-19 vaccination.
• Master’s degree is preferred.
• Prior experience in commercial roles and clinical trials in cardiology/cardiovascular is preferred.
• Documented successful leadership experience with sales and clinical teams is preferred.
• Strong preference for candidates with experience in Abbott cardiovascular products.
