This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Oversee the sales performance and professional growth of District Managers and Account Specialists in the Neuroscience sector.
• Implement regional sales strategies and ensure excellence in execution across Chronic Migraine, Focal Spasticity, and Cervical Dystonia indications.
• Meet or surpass national sales goals for Neurosciences while adhering to expense, compliance, and legal standards.
• Evaluate sales and business execution, identify areas for improvement, and formulate and implement enhancement plans.
• Foster a culture centered on performance and inclusivity.
• Inspire, manage, develop, retain, and promote team members while mentoring throughout the organization.
• Collaborate with external clients and internal marketing and field teams to address customer needs and enhance sales performance.
• Oversee the budget while fulfilling national productivity and administrative criteria.
• Provide insights to brand partners and departments regarding the execution and reception of marketing and IBT initiatives.
• Assess and coach on anatomy, procedures, and injection training.
• Build relationships with physicians, key opinion leaders, hospitals, and other customers through live engagements and regional meetings.
• Ensure that promotional, sales, and marketing efforts comply with AbbVie’s ethical and compliance standards.
• A Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or relevant and equivalent industry experience is required.
• Proven sales management experience with a successful track record of leading teams in the pharmaceutical sector.
• Experience in the commercial pharmaceutical industry, including physician/account-based selling, training, managed health care, and marketing.
• Capability to set a vision and strategy while inspiring individuals and teams.
• Experience in project management.
• Demonstrated ability to network and collaborate across functional areas.
• Ability to meet necessary healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements and maintain eligibility for facility access.
• A minimum of 10 years of total business experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and/or biotechnology is preferred.
• At least 5 years of management experience involving high reimbursement components is preferred.
• A documented history of driving team performance and coaching individuals for growth and development.
• Experience in selling or managing Buy & Bill, Specialty Pharmacy, Medicare Part B, and Medicare Part D products is highly preferred.
• Experience in selling or managing within headache and/or movement-disorder subspecialties is preferred.
• Proven experience in market/business planning and strategy execution.
• Ability to learn and convey anatomical, procedural, and clinical information effectively.
• Willingness to travel 50–75% overnight and adequately travel for regional commitments, conferences, training, meetings, and other events.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving standards.
• Ability and willingness to meet hospital credentialing and vaccination requirements.
• Capability to operate a personal vehicle, company car or truck, or powered material-handling equipment.
