This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.
• Engaging in strategic planning discussions with the sales management team on a quarterly and annual basis.
• Conveying corporate strategy to employees across the Alpine region.
• Organizing and overseeing activities such as sales pipeline generation, forecasting, and customer relationship development and satisfaction.
• Setting short-term and long-term goals, metrics, and quotas that align with corporate and regional objectives.
• Identifying and enabling necessary resources to support the Alpine sales strategy.
• Recognizing and qualifying significant sales opportunities at the management level within the Alpine region.
• Serving as a coach, mentor, and educator to all Regional Sales Managers in the Alpine area.
• Selecting, developing, and evaluating personnel to ensure sales targets are achieved.
• Keeping senior leadership updated on key issues and changes that may affect anticipated business outcomes.
• Demonstrated experience, knowledge, and a network within the Alpine market, particularly in the tech industry.
• Required experience in a frontline sales leadership role with a background in people management.
• Strong relationship-building skills and executive-level negotiation capabilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with functional peers across various departments, including Channel, Marketing, Sales Operations, System Engineering, Services Customer Support, and Product Development.
• Proven track record as a successful Regional Sales Director who has consistently exceeded assigned sales quotas in the Alpine region.
• Experience in target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales methodologies.
• A strong aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions address business challenges.
• A solid understanding of Cybersecurity technologies and competitive offerings in the market is beneficial.
• Proven experience collaborating with Sales organizations and technical teams.
• A demonstrated ability to manage professional-level employees.
• Capacity to promote a positive work environment and attitude.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken German and English.
• Bonus: Proficiency in written and spoken French.
