This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Propel revenue expansion by identifying and cultivating new business opportunities within your designated territory, assisting clients in navigating intricate fleet challenges, and fostering robust relationships from the initial interaction through to the transition to account management.
• Meet and surpass annual sales goals related to fleet management solutions and associated services.
• Formulate and implement sales strategies aimed at expanding the customer base and penetrating new markets.
• Oversee intricate sales processes employing consultative and Challenger-based methodologies to secure high-value contracts.
• Collaborate with fleet clients to gain insights into their operational requirements, challenges, and business goals.
• Provide customized proposals and presentations that effectively articulate value.
• Sustain a healthy and precise sales pipeline utilizing CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) with dependable forecasting.
• Share valuable insights regarding industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging fleet challenges.
• Compile and present customer reports by gathering and analyzing critical data.
• Work collaboratively across departments to guarantee seamless customer interactions and promote long-term account development.
• Manage $5-10M in new business development, overseeing accounts until they are transitioned to the account management team.
• Minimum: A bachelor’s degree coupled with 4 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Alternatively, the ideal candidate may possess a master’s degree with up to 2 years of related experience; a Ph.D. with up to 1 year; or more than 8 years of pertinent industry experience.
• A valid driver’s license with a commendable driving record.
• Willingness to travel extensively (up to 80%) across multiple markets and states.
• Preferred: Background in trucking or fleet management sales.
• Demonstrated success in prospecting, developing new business, and enhancing existing accounts.
• Strong communication, customer service, and relationship-building capabilities.
• Familiarity with effective sales and marketing strategies.
