This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +6 more states.
• Overseeing the operations, performance, and expansion of various business locations in the Northeast region.
• Managing teams and driving sales performance.
• Ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Implementing strategic initiatives aimed at achieving both regional and company-wide objectives.
• Developing and executing strategies to enhance sales and foster guest loyalty through store programs.
• Evaluating and fostering growth within the Design Services program.
• Leading weekly management meetings focused on setting goals, communicating business plans, and conducting strategic analyses.
• Optimizing management development in floor leadership, division of leadership roles, and business acumen.
• Exemplifying outstanding service and ensuring managers effectively lead on the sales floor to drive sales.
• Collaborating with HR business partner and VP of Retail on recruitment and hiring processes.
• Assessing performance management through EPI’s and motivating team members.
• Enhancing overall teamwork by increasing levels of team responsibility.
• Maximizing team and individual performance through consistent coaching.
• Must reside in the geographical area where the role is being implemented.
• A college degree is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of management experience in a specialty retail or multi-unit retail environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Kronos, and POS systems.
• Ability to think critically like a new business owner, recognizing that ambiguity is often a part of retail.
• Capability to work independently without close supervision.
• Open-minded and eager to adopt new perspectives and learn new skills.
• Ability to remain mobile on the sales floor for extended periods.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Capability to lift and transport medium to large items, weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to travel weekly.
