This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
β’ Serve as the main point of contact for spoke hospitals associated with PPD hubs and regional single sites, cultivating robust relationships and ensuring effective communication.
β’ Implement regional account strategies with an emphasis on patient escalation, movement within the healthcare system, and the establishment of protocols for heart team transport and patient flow.
β’ Ensure that spoke heart team and transport protocols are in sync with hub protocols and internal standards.
β’ Maintain open communication channels to provide clarity on hub protocols and regional activities, ensuring that all stakeholders are well-informed and aligned.
β’ Create and implement regional and, when applicable, single-site account plans to foster program growth and sustainability.
β’ Work collaboratively with internal teams and hospital stakeholders to ensure alignment on objectives, protocols, and program initiatives.
β’ Offer clinical expertise and provide education to physicians, APPs, educators, nursing staff, and other healthcare providers regarding the indications and selection of patients suitable for Impella.
β’ A bachelor's degree (BA/BS) is required; an advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MSN, or a related field) is preferred.
β’ A minimum of 3 years of successful sales experience within Abiomed or over 5 years of relevant industry experience in healthcare, hospital operations, or clinical program management demonstrating proven success.
β’ Previous experience in supporting or managing cardiac or vascular programs is highly preferred.
β’ Experience working collaboratively with hospital administrators is essential.
β’ Proven success in implementing protocols, workflows, or account plans within a hospital or health system environment.
β’ Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and hospital stakeholders, including clinical staff and administrators.
β’ Strong comprehension of hospital operations, patient flow, and the dynamics of health systems.
β’ Exceptional written and oral communication skills, complemented by strong presentation capabilities.
β’ Proficient in computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for data analysis, documentation, and presentations.
